Essential Oil and Oils

There are many essential oils on the market however only a handful (we stock just 3 of the 5) have been assessed by (FSANZ) Food Standards Australia and New Zealand to establish their safety before being added to the food supply.

Food grade essential oils are used for a variety of purposes.  In an oil burner, air purifier, air freshener, in potpourri, massage oil or a bath.  Also used for cleaning -  in the water you use to wash your floors or into your dish washing liquid.

Essential oil is extracted via steam distillation of the leaves and green branchlets.

Often only a drop or two is all that is required to make a great improvement in the flavour of food or drinks.

These oils have approved by the relevant authorities in Australia and the USA.

Essential Oils should always be used diluted and not be applied to the skin direct, as it will burn the skin (or stomach lining).
