Strawberry gum (Eucalyptis Olida or Forestberry) is used to enhance the flavour of cooked  fruit dishes, desserts or spiced jams, bringing out the classic 'berry'  flavour.  The tree occurs naturally in northern New South Wales.

A mild strawberry/eucalyptus flavour, with strawberry aroma. Use to flavour sweet breads or scones.

Or try it to cure crocodile meat

    A completely untapped food ingredient

    Very fresh and beautifully smelling. I used this to enhance the flavour of a coulis I made for ice cream and also used as a tea. Very happy with this product. Will be buying again.

    Steamed nectarines with a zing

    This was my first use of Strawberry Gum. I steamed nectarines and added a little of this ingredient. The dish was much tastier and added that extra 'something'. I would also like to compliment Taste Australia for the prompt delivery. Well done.
